Radici [Roots], 2001

In a play of positives-negatives, of shadows and light, the artist has given life to the material by creating a soft body – ‘Radici’ (Roots) – caught in a languid awakening, exuding a femininity indifferent to the gaze, because she herself is lost in the wonder of the infinite. And this illusion is given shape by the perfection of the lines and the strength of the signs, never casual.
