Naufragio fossile [Fossil Shipwreck], 1996

In the work, the author has intervened on the stone in an energetic and total manner, trying to render the perception of a meeting of materials (ship, sail, fossil, sea, structures, organic memory) and of the impact of elements (air, void, stone, water, sky). The fossil becomes a paradoxical emblem of life as an indelible trace and inalienable desire.
