Prometheus, 1993
As the title suggests, this sculpture refers to the history of Prometheus. After stealing the fire from the gods, he was tied to a rock by Jupiter. Here too, the sculptor wanted to transport the strength of the rock into the mythical character without changing much of the rock’s original appearance.
