Hatanor, 1994

In the alchemical furnace, imagination merges with the will to transform. The change resulting from the cosmic phases of sun and moon, of heat and cold, of man and woman; interpreted by the calligraphy of the sculptor’s hand, dictated by the tools, the stone itself the object of transformation; from a defenseless boulder to a form marked by volumes inspired by cultural heritage.
